F. Belize Tax Treaty List with Other Countries
Belize Tax Treaties exist for a number of countries to elliminate potentially harmful double taxation situations. Belize has double taxation agreements with the following countries:
- CARICOM,
- Antigua & Baruda,
- Barbados,
- Dominica,
- Grenada,
- Guyana,
- St Christopher & Nevis,
- Jamaica,
- St Lucia,
- St Vincent,
- The Grenadines,
- Trinidad,
- Tobago,
- Switzerland,
- UK/Belize Double Tax Treaty. UK/Belize Double Taxation Arrangement, 19 December 1947, amended by Supplementary Arrangements made on 8 April 1968 and 12 December 1973.
*A DTA between Denmark, Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom had been extended to Belize in 1954. A DTA between Norway, Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom had been extended to Belize in 1955. (This may not be effective any longer) A DTA between Sweden, Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom had been extended to Belize in 1973.
